If i separate out the providers with a url for each in m3u-editor, both work fine on their own and load in Kodi, but never when both are loaded at the same time, regardless to weather i load as a url with both providers combined, or are separate url for each provider doing two imports on my device, or as a combined m3u on my PC or two separate m3u from my PC. All looks OK apart from that on the PC and all channels work in the client app on my PC, but the Kodi plugin will not load any channels with the below error (repeating many times for all channels / groups)ĮRROR: cb_transfer_channel_group_member: Cannot find group 'IPT USA Movie Networks' or channel '28010' When i import the m3u, it numbers the channels that appear first in the m3u starting at number 1 ascending, then when it gets to the first line in the m3u that is from my second provider, that has a different streaming location, instead of numbering the channel incrementally 1 higher than the previous channel from my first provider in m3u, it starts again at 1. I cant seem to get this to work in nextPVR when accessing from Kodi. i manage the m3u through online m3u-editor that syncs with my providers daily and allows me to merge the lists from both providers, make custom groups, arrange group and channel order, set custom Logos, and map EPG, and I then get my fixed up combined m3u from m3u-Editors configurable url. I am using Kodi on CoreELEC as front end. I currently have the latest V4 installed (actually i have it installed side by side with 5, so i can send a full channel list to some TV's in my house and a list with just kids channels to the TV's my kids in bedrooms)

We must add seven new (different) positions for each odd harmonic above that. Mark McDunn’s “The 51 Positions” chart goes from the first natural harmonic (pedal) up to the sixteenth harmonic. When they get note-wise close there is just not enough room to display everything on paper, but the mind's eye can zoom in on the detail to follow the paths. And most charts do not well handle the compression of partials as they go up. The ear can then recognize in aural context there are position paths available for play, not just notes.Īnyway, this chart does not support that kind of thing. So melody becomes a path of connected positions in the chart. (Lower in his visual model is higher in pitch-don't get that part.)Īnyway, the internal visual model allows one to think visually about lines, and Greg does that in his chart. The best representation of such chart I have seen is in Greg Waits' book, but for some reason his internal model is upside down relative to mine. What I mean by internal model is an internal visualization of the position chart. This chart does not align with my internal model, though it seems pretty accurate for someone with a horn that behaves in that way on his own face. Switch also has a feature to add CD album details from the freeDB database. We suggest using it only if you know precisely what you want to do and are ready to install a new application. So I just wasted time with them: listened to their stories, laughed at their jokes and let them laugh at mine. My supervisor insisted that I spend one hour at each visit, and an hour seemed endless. There was no need of high-tech "bells and whistles." As for professional demeanor, it doesn't go very far with people who have a limited time left on the planet. After all, the most aggressive medical treatment had failed these patients. It seemed I had nothing of value to offer.Īt first I hid behind nursing skill and professional demeanor, but that proved to be a flimsy shield. Becoming a hospice nurse brought me face to face with mortality in general, and mine in particular. I didn't have a clue when I first found myself in the daily company of the terminally ill. All the rest is living." So what can we do to help our terminally ill brothers and sisters live fully, to the very last? "You die on one day," a hospice chaplain told me. She was asking me how to behave on "death row." Finally I realized what she was really asking. No matter how I responded, she didn't seem satisfied. But I've seen what an extraordinary difference even one person can make in the life of a suffering person.Ī woman very close to death asked me that question over and over, and it still rings in my ears. When you consider the volume and depth of interior work involved in completing a life, our meager efforts to help seem so insignificant. One young man told me in his last hours, "I feel as if I'm standing at the end of a diving board, about to dive backwards into. It seems to take a lot of practice, surrendering bits and pieces of the uncontrollable, before a person can make a final act of abandonment, a leap of faith, at the moment of death. The key is handing over the burden to God, where it belongs, and accepting the peace that this world cannot give. Struggling and straining to be free of the suffering, we risk being consumed by it. Surrender Accepting what cannot be changed, relinquishing control of the uncontrollable, is crucial work. The journey to recovered wholeness involves finding a new sense of personal worth in "being" instead of "doing," defining the self in new ways, and finding a place of comfort within chaos as the old "perfect" life is turned upside down. Denial is usually part of the process, because the full force of the truth is too much to digest all at once. Mourning the loss of health involves facing our dependence on others. From what I've seen, reconciliation, with other human beings and with God, is an absolute prerequisite for a peaceful death.Īcceptance of Humanity / Mortality A final illness shatters our illusions of self-sufficiency and control. And many people, in the secret recesses of their hearts, have a need to forgive God for the tragedies in their lives. Asking forgiveness of God seems to come easier, but believing and accepting God's forgiveness can be a monumental task without a confessor. When reconciliation is one-sided, when the other party is unwilling or unable to reciprocate, it's primarily an internal process. Reconciliation Granting and accepting forgiveness in important relationships can be formidable work, especially if the hurts are brutal. This is very private work that is only shared with intimates or a carefully chosen stranger, if at all. Even people with strong religious beliefs must put a personal spin on their faith, and internalize it in a new way. "What is the point of my life? Where have I succeeded? Where have I failed? What is the meaning of life in general?" This is deep, dark work for a deep, dark time. Surfacing Meaning "Why do I have to suffer this way? Why does God allow this? Is there a God? What kind of God?" The search for meaning leads us to question everything. Our natural longing for wholeness serves as the motivation to do the work, which includes the following: It can be avoided, but it can't be denied. This work is instinctive it doesn't need to be taught. It calls for soul-wrenching interior work to emerge whole on the other side of the experience. Eric Cassell defines suffering as "the state of severe distress that threatens the intactness of the person." Coming to terms with all the losses that accompany a terminal illness and facing the end of worldly existence is the essence of suffering: a burden to carry and a wall to break through. It's an unfortunate, unavoidable part of every life.ĭr. (That would be heaven.) In this world, to eliminate suffering we would have to eliminate breathing. How many times have we heard, "No one should have to suffer"? In a perfect world, there would be no suffering. Suffering strikes us as fundamentally wrong. |
